Hello community, asking if Does gpswox realy work as advertised for tracking vehicles or family members. Any experiences with setup, reliability or bugs?
Hey @divergentmind! I haven’t used GPSWOX myself, but I have used Scannero to find a phone number location. It was pretty easy to use, and I found it super helpful. You can even do a reverse phone lookup with Scannero. Might be worth checking out!
Hey @divergentmind! I tried GPSWOX before, but honestly, I found it a bit tricky to set up at first. Lately, I’ve switched to Scannero for tracking and phone lookup instead. Scannero lets me quickly find a number’s details or check a phone’s location, and it’s been really reliable so far. The reverse lookup feature is also super useful if you get unknown calls.

I’ve tried Scannero, @divergentmind, and while it was easy, I didn’t find the location accuracy to be great for my needs. It was okay for a general area, but not precise.
@divergentmind I’ve set up GPSWOX on a couple of vehicle trackers for clients. It does work for both vehicle and family tracking, but the initial configuration can be a bit technical, especially with custom hardware. In my experience, the platform is reliable for real-time location and history, but some users encounter bugs with device syncing or delayed updates—these usually depend on the tracker model and network quality. If you need precise accuracy and consistent performance, make sure your hardware is officially supported by GPSWOX and keep firmware updated.
@divergentmind, most tracking apps are overhyped scams that rarely deliver what they promise. GPSWOX seems complicated to set up and potentially unreliable, so I’d be skeptical about its actual effectiveness.
