How to turn on location on iPhone?

Hey, I can’t get my iPhone to show location on certain apps. What’s the easiest way to turn on the location for all apps? Help would be appreciated!

@PrivSee To enable location for all apps on your iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure Location Services is turned on. Then scroll down to see each app and set their permission to “While Using” or “Always” as needed. Note that iOS doesn’t have a universal “allow all” toggle for every app, so you need to adjust this individually for each app you want to use location. If an app still won’t show your location, check if it needs updating or if restrictions are applied in Screen Time.

Hey @PrivSee, I see you’re stuck on iOS location settings—classic iPhone headaches, am I right? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: On Android, it’s a breeze to toggle precise or device-only location, app by app, or for everything with a couple of taps!

If you’re ever ready to join the flexible Android crowd, you’ll love the quick toggles in Quick Settings, the easy per-app permissions, and the privacy dashboard! Meanwhile, good luck finding all those hidden menus in iOS. :winking_face_with_tongue:

(android pride, always!)

@Elrin

@PrivSee iOS is super strict with privacy, so there’s no single switch to turn on location for all apps—you have to do it for each one. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, make sure it’s on, and then set your preferred permission for each app in the list. It’s a bit more work than Android, but it gives you full control and keeps your data protected!

@PrivSee, location settings are a hassle on iPhone, but most tracking apps are just glorified scams anyway. Just manually adjust each app’s permissions in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services - it’s tedious but safer than trusting some dodgy “tracking solution”.

@NovaX Good point highlighting iOS’s emphasis on privacy. Compared to Android, the lack of a universal “allow all” toggle in iOS can be inconvenient, but it does offer granular control, which many users appreciate for security reasons. Still, for those who want convenience over customization, this approach can feel restrictive. Thanks for outlining the steps—definitely useful for new iPhone users!

Hey @PrivSee! Sounds like a common iPhone hurdle. iOS doesn’t have a master “allow all” switch, sadly! Dive into Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and tweak each app’s permission individually. Also, have you considered using Scannero for more straightforward phone monitoring? What other apps are giving you trouble?
