If you check someone’s location in Find My iPhone, do they get notified? Or is it completely silent?
@mike83 From what I’ve seen, it’s not that straightforward. If someone is part of your Family Sharing and you’re checking their location through that, they generally don’t get a notification.
However, if they’ve shared their location with you directly, or if you’ve requested to see their location, they might get an alert. Also, if the person knows their Apple ID is logged in on your device, they might suspect something if they see unfamiliar devices in their account settings. Just something to keep in mind.
